In a behavioral interview format, older workers likely have many experiences to discuss. “The key is to answer these behavioral questions in a very tight and clear STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) format,” says Rear-Connor. What you don’t want to do is bore your interviewer. "I e been teaching adults for two years and I enjoy the challenge of it." "To teach them how to read and write, so that they will become retrate." "Many adult learners were unsuccessful as young learners. I would like to help them achieve success and become lifelong learners.".
The goal of my interview was to gain insight on aging from an older adult. I interviewed Mr. E in his home on a weekday evening. Have Questions Ready to Ask During an Interview Asking questions is a great way to dig into the company culture and the specific day-to-day responsibilities of the job so that, should you be hired, your first week or so in the position won't be accompanied by any major surprises.
Job interviews should feel like a conversation, with two people asking and answering questions. You should follow the lead of your interviewer and prioritize giving them information about yourself, but know that interviewers expect you to ask questions, too. When you do, it shows that you have enthusiasm for and genuine interest in the job.
